Each of our classes is structured in a way for you to get the most out of it. While all of our classes will be fully interactive, allowing you to see, smell, hear and taste throughout, some classes will involve ‘doing’. What you can expect will be detailed in each class description (but of course feel free to contact us for more).

If you find you can’t make a class that you’ve registered for, if you give us 7 days notice we can either keep a credit for another class or refund you.

You are welcome to pass your booking for a class on to someone else, but we need to know at least a day in advance, so send us an email with your substitute’s name and contact number.

To make sure your experience is a good one, if a class has less than 5 registrations, 3 days prior to the scheduled class date, we will reschedule it. Of course you have the option to be in the new class or if that doesn’t suit you, we will refund you or keep a credit for another class.

If you have dietary restrictions, please contact us before registering for a class to discuss. We will do our best to accommodate requests.

There is plenty of free parking around Cook Studio. The parking options will depend on the time of the day and the length of the class.
We’re also right in front of the Canterbury train station so PT is a good option also.

Our public cooking classes are open to anyone who loves food and wants to learn new skills.
Classes range from demonstration-style sessions to fully hands-on cooking experiences, with group sizes typically between 5 and 16 people.
We offer a variety of cuisines and techniques suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to confident home cooks.

Private classes are ideal for groups who want an exclusive cooking experience in our studio kitchen.
If you can organise four or more people, you can book a class just for your group.
Choose from our existing classes or request a specific cuisine or style of cooking, and we’ll work with you to create a memorable experience. There is no additional charge to book privately.

Our custom-built studio kitchen can host corporate groups of up to 50 people and can be configured to suit a range of events.
We design cooking experiences tailored to your team, from fun competitions and team challenges to relaxed interactive demonstrations.
Classes can run Monday to Saturday between 12pm and 10pm, with food enjoyed by participants and drinks available or arranged as a package.
